Happy 'I Love You' Day!
The special day for sharing love with everyone, not just a partner!
February the 14th is known famously as Valentine's Day - The Day of the Year to show your love for your loved ONE.
However, I call it 'I Love You' Day!
One summer, about fifteen years ago, I saw a Winnie The Pooh episode with my kids in which they celebrated their love for each other and called it, 'I Love You' Day - We loved it so much that from that day on, Valentine's Day became about sharing my love not just for my partner, but for my kids, myself, my family/ friends - even my cats (as it's also their birthday!)
Of course, we should show our love every day - but it is lovely to have a special day to make people feel extra special (just like birthdays and Christmas do).
So, this Valentine's Day - 'I Love You' Day 😏❤️ - If you are single (and even if you're not) - Firstly, love yourself - do something for yourself - buy yourself flowers or your favourite anything - or do your favourite thing - and Secondly, share your love - show your love for your children, your friends and family....make them feel that extra bit special!
If you would like to make more friends (whether you are single or not), come along to one of my Friendship Club meets for brunch, lunch, dinner or the theatre.
If you are single, come along to a 'Little Something' Dating Night (with 10-15 year age ranges) or one of my Drinks For Singles with an open age range; Both to make friends with other singles with the possibility of meeting someone special.
Last night I held a 'Little Something' Drinks For Singles pre-Valentine's at The Harrow in Warlingham. Over 30 people attended the night - it was so lovely to see you all, thank you for coming.
(Thank you also to the couple who matched a couple of years ago through my Dating Nights...that came in to see me...so lovely to see you and know you are still together ❤️ x).
