So what happens when I sign-up for a Matchmaking Plan?
"All you need is love"
After purchasing Matchmaking Membership, you will be sent a welcome email with a link to my Membership Form. As I meet all of my members to go through the membership form, you do NOT need to fill this form out in full. I need at least one photo and your contact details for the form to submit. When your form has submitted, you will be sent to a 'Thank you for submitting page' to show your membership form has been submitted successfully.

Once the membership form has been submitted, you will be contacted to arrange your personal meeting with the Matchmaker either in person or a Zoom meeting, depending on Membership Plan purchased.

This initial stage is focused on setting everything up properly. The first month of your membership includes your personal meeting, profile creation and, where applicable, photos. For Introductions Plan Lite (monthly) members, the first monthly payment covers this setup stage. For members on the Introductions Plan, this setup stage is included as part of the membership. Introductions and active matchmaking begin once this stage is complete.

At this meeting:-

We will go through the membership form in detail to create your profile with Something Special - finding out all about you and what you are looking for.

I will ask for copies of two forms of Identification.

I will ask you to sign my 'Confidentiality & Code of Conduct Agreement'. A copy of this can be viewed here prior to our meeting.

Once I have met you, you have signed my agreement form and supplied two forms of ID, I will complete your profile and you will become a 'live' member of Something Special. This means, once your profile is complete, I will be looking for potential introductions for you and you are able to access the online Member's area of profiles.

MEMBERSHIP PROFILE FORM
Once a member, you will gain access to the
Something Special Membership Form online. This form is designed to get to know all about you and what you are looking for in a partner. Please complete and submit your form as soon as possible.
I understand how form filling is not fun - all I ask is that you complete the questions with an * which are mainly about your gender, contact details and one photo. All the other questions can be answered with me, Jules, at your personal meeting.
Once you have submitted your membership form online, you will be able to add a photo and 'about me' blurb to your online profile.
When I have your form, I will contact you to arrange your personal meeting to discuss your membership form in greater depth and find out what exactly you are looking for in a partner.

PERSONAL MEETING
The personal meetings are held either in person or via Zoom. If the option to meet is in person, this is usually somewhere relaxed, close to where Something Special is located in Coulsdon. If you are unable to get to Surrey, the personal meeting can be done via Skype/ Zoom.
At your personal meeting, we go through your membership form in detail, get to know more about you, what you are looking for in a partner and discuss how your 'Introduction Email' will look like - these are completely customisable.
I require copies of 2 forms of Identification to be given at the meeting (Driving Licence and Proof of Address).
I also require you to sign my Something Special Confidentiality & Code of Conduct Agreement Form.
If the meeting is conducted via Skype/Zoom - all documents can be scanned and emailed.

SOMETHING SPECIAL
MEMBER
Once I have met you, you have signed my agreement form and supplied two forms of ID, you then become a 'live' member of Something Special. This means, once your profile is complete, I will be looking for potential introductions for you and you are now 'live' on my Something Special Members' Area.
Matchmaking Members are automatically granted complimentary access to the 'Takes Two' Platform. If you do not wish to be on the 'Takes Two' Platform, inform your Matchmaker.

MATCH AND DATE
I will send you an 'Introduction Email'*, which will include:- their photos and 'Matchmaker notes' on each Member. Introductions will only be made one at a time.
Alternatively, if you see someone on The 'Takes Two' Platform for Singles' you would like to meet, let me know and I will look to see if I can match you.
Please ensure you contact me as soon as possible to let me know if you wish to be introduced or not.
If you do, I will contact them to find out if the feeling is mutual.
If it is - I organise a date, time and location, suitable for both of you.
About Membership

Once your personal meeting has taken place and your profile has been completed, you will become a live member of Something Special and I will begin looking for suitable introductions for you.
Something Special is a small business offering a highly personal matchmaking service. Every introduction is based on who I have available at the time and how well you align with each other, so timings can vary. Some members receive introductions quickly, while for others it can take longer. I will not know whether a suitable introduction is available for you until after your personal meeting and profile have been completed.
The Lite Introductions Plan is a monthly membership and continues until cancelled.
The Introductions Plan is a one-off payment and remains active until you either find a connection or choose to pause or end your membership.
Introductions are not guaranteed, as compatibility and mutual interest can only be determined once two people meet. I work carefully and thoughtfully within the terms of your chosen plan to find suitable introductions for you.
