‘Little Something’ Dating Nights & Events – Terms & Conditions

Overview

Something Special hosts social evenings called ‘Little Something’ Dating Nights and Events, where single people can meet in a safe and relaxed environment. You do not need to be a member to attend these events.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Code of Conduct, which can be viewed here.

Guest Information & Privacy

It is not our responsibility to verify the personal information given to us by guests, including age, marital status, or any other aspect of their background. Guests are advised to satisfy themselves regarding such information.

We do not check ID for 'Little Something' Dating Nights and rely on the honesty of guests in confirming that they fall within the stated age range for the event they are booking. Please apply the same level of caution when contacting a fellow guest that you would use when making any new acquaintance.

 

For the Takes Two platform and matchmaking members, we do check ID and require them to sign the Code of Conduct.

We will not give out any of your personal information without your express permission, unless required to do so by law.

​

Guests are asked not to request or expect details of the exact ages of those attending. Everyone booked on to a dating night event will be within the advertised age range, allowing one to two years out, or occasionally two to three years out, depending on the individual event. Each event listing specifies the age range and any flexibility that applies.

Eligibility & Attendance

By purchasing a ticket to a 'Little Something' Dating event, you confirm that you are:

- At least 18 years old, and

- Single, and

- Within (or close to) the advertised age range for that event.

 

Age ranges for dating nights are typically 15 years, allowing one to two years out, or occasionally two to three years out, as stated on each individual event listing.

We rely on guests being truthful about their age. While every effort is made to ensure attendees meet the stated range, Something Special cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the information provided by guests.

​

Guests are responsible for arriving on time. If you arrive late, we are under no obligation to allow participation in the event. However, the host will usually wait for guests who are running 5–10 minutes late, provided advance notice is given.

​

If you are running late or unable to attend, please inform Jools as soon as possible, as this affects the balance and running of the event.

​

Attending Multiple Dating Nights

If you attend more than one dating night, you may see someone you have met before. Many guests enjoy seeing someone a second time, as it gives them the chance to get to know them better.

​

Refunds and transfers are not available within 7 days of the event, in line with our Cancellation Policy, so we are unable to make exceptions based on previous attendance.

​

Guests are not permitted to request information about whether other attendees have been to previous events.

​

Venues & Event Changes

If unforeseen circumstances render an advertised venue unusable, we reserve the right to move the event to an alternative venue. Should this be the case, we will always provide guests with as much notice as possible.

Cancellations & Transfers

Cancellations and transfers are handled in line with our Cancellation Policy, which can be found here. Please review it before booking.

Coupon Codes

If you have a coupon code, please enter it at checkout. Tickets purchased without a code cannot be refunded or adjusted afterwards. Coupon codes reflect the value already paid.

If you’re unsure how to use your code, please contact us before completing your purchase.

​

Conduct & Behaviour

All guests are asked to treat fellow guests with respect and courtesy. Should any guest become offensive or abusive, we reserve the right to refuse admission or remove them from the event. In such cases, there will be no refund.

Ratios & Matches

We do our utmost to provide a balance of males and females booked on to each event, but we cannot guarantee this and accept no responsibility for any uneven ratio due to attendance.

We do not guarantee that guests will receive matches at our events.

​

Liability

We take no responsibility for any emotional upset or physical harm that may arise from communications with other guests, before, during, or after one of our events.

​

'Little Something' Dating events are held in venues over which we have no control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damage to yourself or your personal items at one of our events, you agree to release Something Special from any liability.

​

Photography & Marketing

On rare occasions, photography may be used at some events. Each guest is asked at ticket purchase whether they consent to photographs being taken. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you give Something Special permission to use such photos on our website and in marketing materials.

Accuracy of Information

Every care is taken to ensure that information on our website is correct and accurate; however, we cannot guarantee this will always be possible.

Terms & Conditions – Offers

There are currently no active offers.

​

Tickets purchased as part of any promotion are non-refundable. In the event of postponement or cancellation, a credit or coupon code for the value paid will be provided to purchase a ticket for a future event, with no expiration date.
