‘Little Something’ Dating Nights & Events – Terms & Conditions

Overview

Something Special hosts social evenings called ‘Little Something’ Dating Nights and Events, where single people can meet in a safe and relaxed environment. You do not need to be a member to attend these events.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Code of Conduct, which can be viewed here.

Guest Information & Privacy

​

It is not our responsibility to independently verify every aspect of the personal information provided by guests, including marital status or other personal details. However, for Dating Nights, we do check ID to verify who guests are and that they are attending the correct age group. All guests are also required to sign Something Special's Code of Conduct, confirming that they are single and agree to abide by it.

​

Guests are advised to exercise the same level of caution when contacting a fellow guest that they would use when making any new acquaintance.

​

We will not give out any of your personal information without your express permission, unless required to do so by law.

 

Guests are asked not to request or expect details of the exact ages of those attending. Everyone booked on to a Dating Night will be within the advertised age range, unless an exception is stated in the event description.

Eligibility & Attendance

​

By purchasing a ticket to a 'Little Something' Dating event, you confirm that you are:

• At least 18 years old, and

• Single, and

• Eligible to attend the advertised age group for that event.

​

Most guests fall within three or four age groups. For example, somebody aged 40 may attend the 25–40, 30–45, 35–50 and 40–55 events.

​

Guests younger than 25 may attend the 25–40 age group. Guests over 75 or 80 may attend the 60–75 or 65–80 age groups. All other age groups are restricted to the advertised age bracket only.

 

Guests are responsible for arriving on time. If you arrive late, we are under no obligation to allow participation in the event. However, the host will usually wait for guests who are running 5–10 minutes late, provided advance notice is given.

If you are running late or unable to attend, please inform Jools as soon as possible, as this affects the balance and running of the event.

​

Attending Multiple Dating Nights

​

If you attend more than one Dating Night, you may see someone you have met before. Many guests enjoy seeing someone a second time, as it gives them the chance to get to know them better.

Refunds and transfers are not available within 7 days of the event, in line with our Cancellation Policy, so we are unable to make exceptions based on previous attendance.

​

Guests are not permitted to request information about whether other attendees have been to previous events.

​

Consider Me & Takes Two

​

Unless they choose to opt out, guests attending a Dating Night may be added to Something Special's 'Consider Me' pool and may be considered for introductions to Matchmaking Members.

​

Guests attending a Dating Night may also be eligible to join Takes Two free of charge if they request access within 24 hours of attending.

​

Venues & Event Changes

​

If unforeseen circumstances render an advertised venue unusable, we reserve the right to move the event to an alternative venue. Should this be the case, we will always provide guests with as much notice as possible.

 

Cancellations & Transfers

 

Cancellations and transfers are handled in line with our Cancellation Policy, which can be found here. Please review it before booking.

Coupon Codes

​

If you have a coupon code, please enter it at checkout. Tickets purchased without a code cannot be refunded or adjusted afterwards. Coupon codes reflect the value already paid.

 

Unless otherwise stated, coupon codes are valid for 6 months from the date of the email in which they were issued and cannot be extended once expired.

Conduct & Behaviour

​

All guests are asked to treat fellow guests with respect and courtesy. Should any guest become offensive or abusive, we reserve the right to refuse admission or remove them from the event. In such cases, there will be no refund.

​

Ratios & Matches

We do our utmost to provide a balance of males and females booked on to each event, but we cannot guarantee this and accept no responsibility for any uneven ratio due to attendance.

​

We do not guarantee that guests will receive matches at our events.

​

Liability

​

We take no responsibility for any emotional upset or physical harm that may arise from communications with other guests, before, during, or after one of our events.

​

'Little Something' Dating events are held in venues over which we have no control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damage to yourself or your personal items at one of our events, you agree to release Something Special from any liability.

​

Photography & Marketing

​

On rare occasions, photography may be used at some events. Each guest is asked at ticket purchase whether they consent to photographs being taken. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you give Something Special permission to use such photos on our website and in marketing materials.

​

Accuracy of Information

​

Every care is taken to ensure that information on our website is correct and accurate; however, we cannot guarantee this will always be possible.

Terms & Conditions – Offers

​

There are currently no active offers.

​

Tickets purchased as part of any promotion are non-refundable. In the event of postponement or cancellation, a credit or coupon code for the value paid will be provided to purchase a ticket for a future dating night event. Credit or coupon codes issued in these circumstances are valid for six months from the date of issue.
