MacMillan Coffee Afternoon

SOMETHING SPECIAL'S MACMILLAN 'CAKE PICNIC' @ THE HARROW, WARLINGHAM - (MacMillan Coffee Morning - IN THE AFTERNOON 😏)

DATE: SATURDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER

TIME: MEETING AT 3PM AT THE HARROW IN WARLINGHAM

PLEASE BRING A CAKE TO DONATE (AND RAFFLE PRIZE IF YOU HAVE ONE). WE WILL BE IN THE ROOM TO THE LEFT OF THE BAR.

I'm organising a 'cake picnic' 🙂🍰💕 for The Pretty Woman Club, The Good Fellas Club & Friendship Club Members to get together and raise money for the MacMillan charity (one of our three charities) and their MacMillan Coffee Morning.

To make this work, I will need:- ~ everyone attending to bring a cake to donate for charity (or tray of little cakes/ brownies) - homemade or bought - you do not need to be a baker, I will most likely buy mine 🍰.

~ We will then buy a slice for the Macmillan Cancer Charity by minimum donation of a £1. (If any slices/ cakes left at the end, these can be bought to take home - with the proceeds also going to Macmillan).

~ I am hoping to organise a game and a raffle on the day 🎟 - I am legally unable to offer these raffle tickets online so is only available to those attending - sorry x

We held a MacMillan Coffee Morning in September 2021 & October 2022 and raised lots of money for MacMillan which was great. I had often thought about trying to organise this coffee morning to raise money for cancer - but I am NOT a baker! 🙂🍰💕 I sadly lost my mother to cancer when I was 6, so for me - this is both in her memory and I thought it would be nice for us to get together for a 'cake picnic'  - if you are unable to attend, please donate on this link if you can. https://coffeefundraising.macmillan.org.uk/fundraising/cm23005292

So.... 'I’m hosting a Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support! Please join me this September for a drink in the pub and cake to raise money to support everyone living with cancer.’

SO - basically, we will all have a chat over cake IN THE PUB for charity  - a sort of cake picnic!
