We have a table at Casa Lola booked for 8 people. Please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us on this event - currently able to increase our table but need to know numbers for the theatre... :)

You can join us just for dinner, just for the theatre or both! 

If you are joining us for dinner at Casa Lola, we are meeting at 5.30pm for an early dinner.

If you are joining us just for the show, we are meeting in the theatre bar at 7.30pm for a drink before the show. Performance starts at 7.45pm

You should receive a confirmation email once you have made payment and will receive your ticket to attend with Something Special.  Parking can be found either on the two roads either side of the theatre (Kwikfit/ Swings, Playground) or the business Croudace allow those attending the theatre to park there at night from 7pm. Please contact Jules if you need help with parking.

The Show....

adapted for the stage by Rona Munro  An eighteen-year-old girl, Mary Shelley, dreams up a monster whose tragic story will capture the imaginations of generations to come.  A young scientist by the name of Frankenstein breathes life into a gruesome body. Banished into an indifferent world, Frankenstein’s creature desperately seeks out their true identity, but the agony of rejection and a broken promise push him into darkness. Dangerous and vengeful, the creature threatens to obliterate Frankenstein and everyone he loves, in a ferocious and bloodthirsty hunt for his maker.  Rona Munro’s ‘inventive feminist adaptation’ (The Stage) of Mary Shelley’s Gothic masterpiece places the writer herself amongst the action as she wrestles with her creation and with the stark realities facing revolutionary young women, then and now. It premiered on a tour of the UK in 2019.  Content warning – Contains on stage violence.

If ticket sales are selling fast - our tickets will be booked as soon as possible. Bookings for this event close on Tuesday 29th October unless sold out - Please contact Jules if you would like to come after this time, to see if there are any spaces available.
