 With Milton Jones, Jake Lambert, Peter Rethinasamy and hosted by Mike Cox! 

Headlining the show is the master of the one-liner, Milton Jones! The award-winning comedian – who you may know from regular appearances on Mock the Week on BBC2 or feature appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, and Dave’s One Night Stand will be bringing his uniquely absurd one-liners (and deadpan humour) to the show.

Opening the show is Jake Lambert! Jake fell into a career as a stand-up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad, with him promptly placing as a 2015 semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award, Magners New Comedian of the Year, English Comedian of the Year and Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year. With two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and a deluge of fantastic reviews under his belt, Jake’s combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts has seen him perform on Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store and ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show. He was a guest on BBC One’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired this year.

With support from Peter Rethinasamy! Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother, Peter is a comedian with hard-hitting, punchy jokes and hilarious tales of growing up in Northern Ireland. Since he started performing stand-up, he has reached the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act Competition and won the London Comedy Store’s King Gong Competition. He is soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live and has supported Seann Walsh and Kerry Godliman on tour around the UK.

 Harlequin Outdoors take place in the beautiful setting of Reigate Castle 

Arrival time The grounds will be open 2 hours before the show.

Show time Show times vary; please check your tickets for further information and the web listings for approximate running times.

What should I bring? Bring something to sit on – a blanket, chair or cushion. Please be mindful of those sitting behind you, and don’t bring sun umbrellas, gazebos etc.

Food and drink Watch this space…exciting food and drink options will be announced soon!

What happens if it rains? The show will go on come rain or shine, so please bring clothing that will keep you warm and dry. The event may be moved to the Harlequin Theatre if weather conditions are extremely adverse. This decision would be made the day before.

Ticket collection We encourage you to choose print-at-home tickets; you can print these out or show us your ticket on your phone. There won’t be a facility to print out tickets at the event, so if you choose the collection option, please do this in advance from our Box Office. On arrival, a team member will be there to check tickets and answer questions.

Are dogs allowed? No dogs are allowed other than assistance dogs.

Getting here Castle Grounds is in central Reigate. You can approach via steps from the High Street or the A25, and there is step-free access from the Town Hall on Castlefield Road. See the map below for the exact location.

Accessibility There is level, step-free access via the Town Hall, and the event is suitable for wheelchair users, although please note that the performance area is on grass. There will be an accessible port-a-loo available. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Facilities Port-a-loos will be available at the event which will be cleaned regularly.
