Something Special Christmas Dinner Party

Join us for my Something Special Christmas Dinner Party - This year at Lo Zafferano, Italian in Coulsdon. 

A fun night celebrating Christmas and making new friends with other people in your area.  This night is for Friendship for EVERYONE - come on your own if you are single OR come with your partner/ friend - all are welcome! This is NOT a dating night but I do move chosen people around during the meal...! If you are not already a Member - please join one of our TWO groups for making friends - The Pretty Woman Club & The GoodFellas Club.

Please be sure to purchase your ticket as soon as possible! (I cannot guarantee a place until a ticket has been purchased).

Where?: Lo Zafferano, 117 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, Surrey CR5 2NG

Time: 7.30pm - Arrive for drinks - Dinner served at 8pm

Tickets: £40 - includes Three Course Dinner (and tip for food).

(Drinks must be paid directly to the restaurant on ordering - please also feel free to give an additional tip if you wish - Men/ Women tickets are purely for me to know how many of each are attending).

🎅🏻 At our Christmas Dinner Party, we will be holding a Secret Santa.

All I ask is that you bring a £5 Secret Santa gift for someone on your night.  As there may be an uneven split of men/women, your gift needs to be gender neutral. At some point in the evening, you will be given the name of the person who is to receive your gift and then we will all have fun finding the person and sharing our Christmas Presents.  If you would like Something Special to provide your gift for you, please purchase a ticket for a £5 gift. 🎄🎁

Secret Santa Gift: £7.50 - If you would rather I bought and wrapped your £5 Secret Santa Gift for you, please ensure the correct ticket is purchased for this before checkout. Thank you. (Available until 21st December)

Parking: Parking is available on the Brighton Road.

At checkout, payment can either be made via Credit/Debit Card.  

Tickets are not available on the door.

SET MENU:-

Starter - SHARING PLATTER - All the following dishes are shared.

• Bruschetta Lo Zafferano - Homemade toasted bread topped with diced tomatoes, garlic, chilli, basil, extra virgin olive oil and fresh herbs
• Calamari Fritti - Deep fried squid, served with homemade tartar sauce
• Gamberoni allo zafferano - King prawns cooked with garlic, chilli, saffron, white wine, lemon, butter and parsley. Served with bread
• Arancini - Deep fried rice and mozzarella balls coated in breadcrumbs

Mains - Choice of main given on the night

• Arrabbiata alla Romana - Penne with garlic, chilli, cream, pecorino cheese and tomato sauce.
• Penne Giardino - Mixed vegetables in saffron, tomato, garlic, chilli and basil sauce.
• Cannelloni ricotta e spinaci - Pasta tubes filled with spinach ricotta and parmesan cheese, baked in tomato and bechamel sauce
• Fusilli cacciatore - Diced chicken, pancetta, courgette, red wine, parmesan cheese, tomato and cream sauce
• Tagliatelle allo zafferano - Thin ribbons of pasta with prawns, squid, courgette, garlic, chilli, white wine and saffron sauce
• Risotto salsiccia e funghi - Italian sausage, wild mushrooms, garlic, white wine, parmesan cheese and cream
• Pollo provincial - Chicken breast cooked with garlic, wine, tomatoes, black olives, and herbs, served with mashed potatoes and fine beans
• Pollo ai Funghi - Chicken breast cooked with mushrooms and garlic in a white wine, mustard and cream sauce. Served with mashed potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.
• Grilled sea bass - Fillets with saffron, garlic, capers, lemon and white wine sauce. Served with sautéed potatoes and tender stem broccoli
• Slow cooked lamb shank - With balsamic and red wine jus, black pepper and fresh herbs. Served with Italian fregola sautéed with diced vegetables

Desserts - Choice of dessert given on the night

• Profiterol - Pastry filled with Chantilly cream and covered in chocolate
• Budino di cocco e amaretto - Coconut and amaretto flavour egg custard baked in a sauce of caramelised sugar
• Caprese - Chocolate and almond cake. Served with vanilla ice cream
• Passion Fruit cheese cake - White chocolate and cheese cake with passion fruit topping
